This building situated on Winton Road, still stands out today even though it was built in 2009 ! We implemented grooves in the concrete walls to create a feature it was a basic touch with maximum effect.
Master Projects have done several schools, this one was partially Government Funded and involved many challenges that we enjoyed overcoming. When lifting the concrete tilt up panels they were close to power lines so we needed to call Western Power to put “tiger tails” on the overhead line, at the back of the premises and behind the new head office, library and classrooms we craned in a new transportable lunch canteen all compliant to ambulant and school needs. Our Client Dr Terry Parsons always did business with a smile which was an enjoyable experience for all parties involved in the works.
Located in the picturesque Swan Valley lies a brand new Winery that we are building. Torrent Wines is a three-generation family owned vineyard with who believes the three best things in life is family, wine and food. Torrent Wines received top honours for their La Famiglia Chenin Blanc 2019, which won the Trophy for Best Dry White Varietal at the 2024 Perth Royal Wine Awards. The build is turning heads and the final product will consist of the Winery, Restaurant, Outdoor Bar and Functions Gazebo. The winery is state of the art and the best in the Swan Valley, we are looking forward to what the restaurant brings as the finishes are easily comparable to Margaret River.

What are Tilt-Up and Tilt Panel Warehouses?
Tilt-up and tilt panel construction techniques involve casting concrete panels on-site and then lifting (tilting) them into place to form the walls and foundation of your warehouse.
This process allows for quicker construction time compared to traditional building methods, which is ideal for time-sensitive commercial projects without compromising on build quality.

The benefits and challenges of tilt-up construction ?
Tilt up construction is really effective when you want to create a commercial warehouse as typically to make the panels onsite means requiring a “decent” amount of room for the panels to be poured on site as well as the large crane to setup. Remember the panels made on site typically weigh 10 to 20 tonnes. You can make the panels off site and deliver them but the transport costs need to be factored in if going down this path.
Tilt panel homes are typically not the solution as the amount of room required and the complexity of the designs when compared to a warehouse typically no longer make it price effective. Tilt panels work well with simple designs, that is not to say a warehouse cannot be made to look very nice it is more so understanding whilst designing what the limitations of a tilt panel are. At Master Projects we are well versed on this front.
How can we make the tilt panels energy efficient ?
For habitable spaces like offices the the tilt panels will be lined on the inside on with stud framework, insulation and gyprock. Being concrete the panels themselves whilst very strong, also get very cold in winter and hot in summer.
What is a good panel height ?
9m is typically a good design height for the tilt panel walls, it often allow for enough hook room on the crane for 80% of the cases and also means the panels can be kept to 150mm thick. Taller panels then this often mean the structural engineer will specify thicker walls so the cost benefit needs to be weighed up.
Why wouldn’t I just build a steel shed ?
If a steel shed is fit for purpose, then you would, however Tilt Panel walls are fire resistant and therefore can go on boundary walls and in more recent times landlords have bene charging out their properties by the cubic meter meaning the fact the walls are solid it means you can mount to them easily adding storage shelving, fixtures or even a new concrete floor. These are some of the many advantages of a concrete shed over a steel shed.

We built a commercial retail premises in Ellenbrook for our happy customer. Located at 308 The Broadway, Ellenbrook the building is a stand out on the street.
Built for Alan Moody from Haulmore Trailers. This state of the art warehouse located on the corner of Bushmead Road and Tipper Court was designed with crane rails for a future overhead crane, has 10m high walls and bi-fold doors to ensure the semi-trailers can be made and serviced with maximum access. There are 6 bays meaning 6 semi-trailers can be built at the same time. Now that’s body work with breathing room! We couldn’t be more proud of the quality of our build.
This retail premises situated at 308 the Broadway in Ellenbrook the retail warehouse is the home of Shobukan Karate club a fitness gym and pilates. The front elevation boasts aluminum feature awnings, composite timber feature walls, grey glass and a structural frame ready for allocated signage. We couldn’t be happier for our clients who leased out all warehouse units in no time. It was just another success story from our constant hard work, quality control and client communication skills.
This stand out warehouse in the heart of Malaga boasts an overhead crane, frameless glass office fit-out and a light weight sound proofed mezzanine loading dock. The warehouse presents well with full soft landscaping presented from the street view. We have been engaged several times by the same client – the repeat business speaks volumes of our quality control and personalised one on one service.
Located in Middle Swan at the Stefanelli Business Park and Opposite the Swan Christian College this warehouse with a decent sized hardstand at the back and double story offices had to fit into the beautiful Swan Valley this was achieved with feature face-brick columns and color tones that weren’t too hard on the eye. Architecturally designed, the windows have custom pressed metal sunshades and the trellis awning between the feature bricks are all maintenance free. We provided personalised service to our customers which made all the difference in smoothly operating the build process.

The shed arrived in kit form, Master Projects erected it, poured the main slab and created the wall and roof cover. With the high winds in the Avon Industrial Estate installing the sheeting had to be done on the right timings.
Master Projects developed this from the ground up, the building has a dentist, doctors surgery, caretakers and doctors accommodation and colour scheme to help the visually impaired. The project ran on time and on budget which was a great accomplishment given distance was a factor.
